Are we really that SPECIAL or we need to wake up NOW???

Nowadays it is not so easy to be special. We see many motivational speakers out there sending similar messages to the masses:

“You are unique and wonderful”

“Dream big, take a massive action and you get it no matter what”

“You are special and at the right moment you will contribute to the society in a way that you will be immortalize in the history forever”

“Just stay positive and you will see prosperity manifesting in your life!!!”

“Meditate!!”

Reality.

Well, in 2015 we had 7.347 billion people in the world, with approximately a billion added every 5 years. And needless to say that there are not so many successful people exist. Don’t get me wrong; there are a lot of people, who live a pretty good life, are healthy and happy. Their families are strong and job pays the bills. And positive thinking does bring positive results in people’s lives, meditation makes you calmer and working on your dream is also crucial.

However, many people believe in those messages so much that they leave their jobs, partners, families and sink in self-destruction if they allow themselves to feel bad.

Encouragement.

Do you want to be a famous actor? A model? A billionaire? Stick to the plan! You might really succeed. But don’t make rational decisions in leaving a secure job that pays for your life or throw away your kids as you decide to concur the world.. Some things we are truly responsible for. Plus many of us forget about the importance of education in almost any area we want to succeed. It takes time to become really good at something and getting proper skills, experience and knowledge is also time consuming. There are way too many homeless people, who believe so much in becoming famous and in their unique destiny to succeed. And to be really different you must have something more than just a dream and strong belief in yourself, for example, education..

Contributing.

It’s important to remember that contributing to the society usually brings meaning to our lives. That’s why people are so eager to help others in any way possible. But, in reality, it doesn’t matter how many people you have helped; 2 or 2 million. And we often strive to get the number up and become unhappy if we don’t see an increase. But our life already has a meaning if we change one person’s life. Sometimes, we need to let go of the idea to save the world and focus on those things around us. Not all of the people, who take massive action, succeed, and not all of the people, who are extremely successful, followed the principles promoted by the motivational leaders.

The end.

Don’t be blind by the grandiose ideas; work on your plan, dream big, take care of your health, but also stay realistic and humble about everything that is going on. No matter how fantastic meditation sounds, we are not able to cure schizophrenia with it.. So an understanding that circumstances do matter is crucial.

Be real, work on your dream and stay on the ground.

Be nice and humble.
