In reality, it may not be easy to remain calm in the presence of those who can skillfully press ALL of our irritation buttons..
All of that energy that we normally invest into overly stimulated environment that is perceived by us as normal, we now have to transmute into a peaceful existence with nothing much to do. It can be quite difficult and or even destructive
.
Because our body and mind are used to extreme levels of mental and physical activity, we become literally addicted to it. So, in this moment of a forced stillness, we begin to get pissed easily and initiate fights to get some adrenaline going.
What can be done? Relax. Truly. Relax all of the muscles. Lay down and go within to identify why and where all of that unused energy is stored. And try to see options where you can invest it at this moment.
Remember, this has to be something productive; not drinking, watching movies or browsing internet. Dedicate some quality time into fun and connecting activities.
Art? Try something new. Even if you have never done this before. Chose something where more than one person can participate.
Fun family games? It may work magic to learn more about those who you consider your family. But keep in mind that you may go to jail for committing a murder
Talking about life.. How often do we actually share how and what we feel? Talk to your partners and kids. Tell them “Do you know what was the most difficult or the most rewarding time in my life?”, “What makes my soul sing?”, “I will tell you what I feel and I want you to tell me about you”..
Connecting on energetic level. Do this simple exercise: find a tantric or other high-vibrational music. Sit comfortably with your partner facing each other. Close your eyes. Tune into the music. Connect yours and your partner’s palms together. Begin breathing in unison and feeling the energy flowing through your hands! What do you feel?
The options are endless!
And, I love you!
